These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PursuitMate mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Platform"), operated by PursuitMate Technologies ("PursuitMate", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1.Eligibility & Acceptance

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use PursuitMate. By using the Platform you represent that you are 18 or older and legally able to enter into these Terms. Any account found to belong to a minor will be terminated immediately. The Platform is currently intended for users in India.

2.Nature of the Service

PursuitMate is a social platform that helps people discover and arrange real-world, platonic activities ("Pursuits"). PursuitMate only facilitates connections — we are not a party to any meetup, plan, or interaction between users. We do not employ, endorse, or verify users beyond the optional trust and verification features described in these Terms, and we are not responsible for the conduct of any user, whether online or offline.

3.User Conduct & Zero-Tolerance Policy (User-Generated Content)

PursuitMate maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. You agree not to post, share, or transmit content that is harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, threatening, defamatory, deceptive, or that promotes stalking, bullying, or illegal activity.

You may flag objectionable content or block any user at any time using the in-app reporting and blocking tools. We review reports of objectionable content and act on them — including removing content and ejecting the offending user — within 24 hours of a valid report. Violations result in Trust Score penalties, content removal, and may result in permanent account termination.

4.Commercial Use & Soliciting

Unless you are a Verified Business publishing a priced plan, you may not use PursuitMate for commercial gain, unauthorized advertising, soliciting, recruitment, or prostitution. Attempting to monetize ordinary meetups, or using the Platform to solicit money or services, will result in a permanent ban.

5.Financial Transactions & Scams

PursuitMate does not process payments and is not responsible for any financial transaction between users. The only price the Platform allows is one shown on a plan published by a Verified Business: you pay that business directly, on its own terms, and PursuitMate is not a party to that payment. Apart from that stated price, requests for money, donations, or "charity" through the Platform are prohibited and should be reported, and you should never send money, cryptocurrency, gift cards, or sensitive financial details to other users. A seat in a private vehicle may never be priced (see Section 6). You engage in any financial dealings entirely at your own risk.

6.Real-World Safety & Liability

We facilitate connections, but PursuitMate is not responsible for your offline safety or the actions of other users. Always meet in public, well-lit places, tell a friend where you are going, and use your own judgment. Never go to another user's private residence or any private or secluded location. Private and remote meeting spots carry additional risk. You assume all risk arising from meetups and interactions arranged through the Platform, and PursuitMate assumes no liability for any offline incident, injury, loss, or dispute.

Travelling together. Some plans, such as road trips and rides, involve travelling in a participant's private vehicle. PursuitMate is not a transport service and does not check drivers, vehicles, licences or insurance. If you choose to travel with another user, meet in a public place first, share the trip and your live location with someone you trust, make sure the driver holds a valid licence and the vehicle is insured, and leave whenever you feel unsafe. A seat in a private vehicle must always be free — no fare may be charged for it. If you are not comfortable, travel in your own vehicle or licensed public transport.

Alcohol, tobacco, intoxicants and regulated claims. PursuitMate does not sell, serve, supply or arrange alcohol, tobacco or any other substance, and is not a party to anything a host or a venue provides. Plans may name a bar, pub, lounge or restaurant as the place to meet; plans may not advertise these products themselves — offering them as free, unlimited, included or provided, promoting drink prices, or making intoxication the purpose of the meetup. Advertising or promoting tobacco products, including hookah, shisha, cigarettes, cigars and vapes, is prohibited on the Platform in line with Section 5 of the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act, 2003, and hookah bars are separately banned in several States. Narcotic and psychotropic substances are prohibited outright, and posts referring to them will be removed. Plans may always state that alcohol, smoking or other substances are not permitted, and we encourage it. Anything consumed at a meetup is a matter between you, the other participants and the venue, at your own risk and subject to the law of your State; the Platform is 18+ and assumes no liability for it.

No health or medical claims. Wellness, yoga, meditation and similar plans may describe the activity, but must not claim to diagnose, treat, cure, prevent or reverse any medical condition, and must never advise anyone to stop or replace prescribed treatment. Nothing on the Platform is medical advice. PursuitMate does not verify, endorse or take responsibility for any claim a host makes about health outcomes; consult a registered medical practitioner.

7.Trust Score & No-Shows

Your Trust Score is a community reflection of your reliability. Repeated no-shows to confirmed meetups, deceptive behavior, or community reports will lower your score and may result in automated, permanent restrictions on the Platform.

8.Content Moderation & Automated Review

To keep the community safe, post content (text and, where applicable, images) may be analyzed by automated systems, including third-party AI services (Google Gemini), before publication. Content found to violate these Terms may be blocked, ranked lower, or removed, and repeat violations may temporarily or permanently restrict your ability to post. Automated review is provided "as is" and may not catch every violation — user reporting remains essential.

9.Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, abuse the Platform, or create risk for other users. You may delete your account at any time from within the app. Certain data may be retained after deletion as described in our Privacy Policy.

10.Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its name, logo, design, and software, is owned by PursuitMate and protected by applicable law. You retain ownership of the content you post but grant PursuitMate a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute that content as necessary to operate the Platform.

11.Limitation of Liability & Indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PursuitMate and its officers, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the Platform or from interactions with other users. You agree to indemnify and hold PursuitMate harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Platform or your breach of these Terms.

12.Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect, how we use it, the third-party services we rely on, and your rights.

13.Grievance Redressal

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, the contact details of our Grievance Officer are published below. You may contact the Grievance Officer to report objectionable content, a violation of these Terms, or any concern regarding the Platform. We will acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 days of receipt.

14.Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Hyderabad, India.

15.Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
